Reply Brian Johnson February 2, 2016 at 2:34 am I also have the Seagate 1TB HDD. To fix this problem, simply reformat the NTFS partition as FAT32. I have 2 Seagates and they work fine. Thoughts?
Hence why I am adding this comment. If no computers see the drive when you connect it-even in the Disk Management window-the USB drive itself is likely dead. You can check for this using the Device Manager. If you're using a larger drive, ensure it doesn't have its own power switch or power cable you need to connect.
