The restart went normally, and things worked all right, but this problem continued, so I quit putting the computer to sleep at all. When you start your PC again, Windows 8 uses that saved system information to resume your system instead of having to do a cold boot to fully restart it. It might be busy.

Windows 8 is absolute shyte! Windows 8.1 Shutting Down Stuck There is a driver on Dell's site to fix compatibility with Intel's RAID mode, but even when I installed that driver and set the BIOS to RAID just for shit's and Most of the time, I can open any program; only sometimes does it refuse.

Also delete software that you recently downloaded or think might be bring you a problem , download them again after malwarebytes clean up, the software might have bot downloaded properly . u have stopped blue screen of death... I have looked at all the forums and checked all the power settings etc but nothing seems to be working! Thing is, the Kingston that's in there now works flawless once it's booted, or recovers from sleep etc, but just won't restart.
Following that, you can tweak the setting the way you wish.
