September 1, 2007 Lumpy Thanks! A flat folder, face to you, is. I haven't been able to figure that out! For some reason, every release of a Windows operating system REMOVES useful functions from the previous release, nearly always in the area of customization.
This is really very very annoying in Windows 7. It took me about two work days to get it installed. It may not look as pretty, but it does something much more important: it makes the folder thumbnail useful, as opposed to the current useless. The free Classic Shell file manager was one of the three Windows 7-enhancing utilities I described in April 2010. Now this. Brett I too have a clip art collection of wmf files and was surprised to see that someone at Microsoft had the dumb idea to remove wmf thumbnails in Windows Explorer It did what I needed, nothing more! I found this button to be HIGHLY useful and am VERY disappointed it is not there any more...
